Wildlife
abounds! Otters and Grey Seals are a well-known attraction of
the area, Basking Sharks, Whales, Dolphins and Porpoises are
also
occasional visitors to Kintyre! The Golden Eagle and Peregrine regularly patrol the upland landscapes, particularly near the MULL of Kintyre. The seabird observatory provides shelter and information for
seawatchers in all weather conditions and is a focus of birdwatching
activity in Kintyre.
