The site overlooks the famous links golf course with views of the glorious Atlantic, Islay and Jura.  We boast 3 miles of golden sands well known to surfers, canoeists, birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts.  Wild goats, seals and otters abound and we have a wonderful seabird observatory nearby.  Golden Eagles nest around and about Kintyre and the whole area is a haven for Peregrines, Buzzards, Sparrowhawks and a rich variety of other birds.

There are sheltered bays for campers and we are Virtually Midge Free due to the open aspect of the campsite and the coastal location. 

We are a short walk from the Old Golf Course Bar/Restaurant - a great little pub overlooking the beach which serves good quality bar meals.

There are regular buses into The Wee Toon - bustling and vibrant Campbeltown.  Campbeltown is so pretty nestling around a sea loch overlooking Davaar Island.  Its streets bustle with life and it boasts galleries, shops, pubs, restaurants a cinema and a public pool and gym.
